Regional Songwriters Retreat 2025 

The 2025 Regional Songwriters Retreat brought together emerging and established songwriters from across NSW for a three-day creative intensive in beautiful Canowindra. Hosted by Natural Progression Artist Management and guided by an all-star mentor lineup including Allan Caswell, Matt Scullion, Tyla Rodrigues, and Nerida Music, the retreat delivered a transformative weekend of learning, collaboration, and community.

Across the weekend, attendees took part in structured writing blocks, mentor-led feedback sessions, industry conversations, and live song presentations. Each writer had the opportunity to collaborate with mentors, refine their craft, and create new original music in an inspiring, supportive environment.

The program balanced creativity with connection. Shared meals, evening social sessions, and a welcoming, down-to-earth atmosphere helped foster genuine friendships and an inclusive community spirit. The weekend closed with a celebration of songs, a powerful reminder of the talent and potential thriving in regional Australia.
